Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI) is the designated flag carrier airline of the Kingdom of Thailand. It was founded in the year 1960 and then merged with Thai Airways Company in 1988 to expand its operation both internationally and in the domestic destinations.

Thai Airways operates an average of 1,095 roundtrip flights per week to 84 destinations in 37 countries, using a fleet of over 90 aircraft across domestic, regional and intercontinental routes from its hub at Suvarnabhumi Airport and secondary hub at Phuket International Airport.

Thai Airways aims at providing full service to premium passengers with the highest standards of service with the “First Choice Carrier with Touches of Thai” Thai Airways founded the world’s first and the largest airline alliance, the Star Alliance along with  Lufthansa, Air Canada, SAS, and United Airlines, on 14 May 1997.

Online Reservations

Anyone can book a Thai Airways ticket on its official website by clicking on the “Book Flights” option on the website. You can choose from 84 destinations across the globe to make reservations on Thai Airways.

Offline Reservations

You can also book a flight on Thai Airways through various offline modes. You can visit the nearest Thai Ticket Office in the country where the departure originates. You can also visit the ticket counter at the Airport to make Thai Airways reservation. You can also contact a travel agent to make the reservation on Thai Airways.

You can even contact the Thai Airways customer service to make reservations. You just need to call on the Thai Airways reservation contact number to book your ticket on the Thai Airways. However, you may have to pay an extra service fee to book through offline mode.

Thai Airways Seat Reservation

Thai Airways seat reservations can be made online until 48 hours before departure of your flight while booking or through “Manage My Booking”. For bookings made after 48 hours deadline, the seat can be assigned at the check-in counter on the date of departure or can be reserved within 24 hours when you do web check-in on CHECK-IN.

Royal First Class

Royal First class is available on Thai Airways fleet of A380-800 and B747 aircraft, with seating options for up to 12 and 10 passengers respectively. The interiors of the cabin are inspired by the rich cultural legacy of Thailand with mellifluous colours of gold and brown that compliments with the gentle lighting, rich fabrics, and elegant finishes. Royal First Class has the specious 8 feet long semi-private suites with seats having a width of 23 inches in the Boeing 747s and a comprehensive width of 27 inches in the Airbus A380s. You get to choose from a wide range of movies, TV programs, video games and music on the interactive 23-inch flat-screen monitor. The seats can be turned in to fully flat beds and has amenities like comfort wear and slippers are provided along with a travel kit having a range of designer toiletries and accessories for both men and women on intercontinental flights of six hours or more. 

Passengers can savour the authentic Thai dishes or can choose from a pre-ordered menu in Thai, western, and oriental cuisine that can be selected in advance by calling the THAI Contact Centre in Bangkok or local THAI Office.

Royal Silk Class

The Royal Silk Class or Business Class of THAI provides you with similar amenities like the Royal First Class. The only difference is in the seat that is provided on the Royal Silk Class. The seats onboard A380-800 aircraft, B787, and new B777-300ER aircraft, reclines to a lie-flat bed, while on other aircraft seats of Royal Silk Class can only recline to between 160 to 170 degrees. Passengers get to enjoy wonderful dishes in western and Asian cuisine with dedicated Royal First Class cabin crew’s prompt and gracious services throughout the flights.

Economy Class

Economy Class of THAI offers a comfortable, wide, reclining seats, with magnanimous legroom that exceeds most other airlines economy class seats. The seats are available between 81 and 86 cm (32 and 34 in) depending on the type of aircraft. Passengers can also enjoy THAI Sky Connect, the internet connectivity on many aircraft, including A380, A350, B787 and selected A330 aircraft. However, you need to purchase a rate plan available through online mode by paying with a credit or debit card. The passengers of Economy Class are provided with a pillow and a blanket on long haul regional or intercontinental flights. Earplugs and eyeshades are available on request. A vast range of games, toys, and books are available for children on both international and domestic flights. The cabin crew is always available to help children during the journey. Economy Class passengers can enjoy a variety of snacks and hot meals on all Thai flights depending on the time of the flight.
